What we can ALL do to prevent cyberbullying

 ‘Let’s Fight It Together’ is an award winning film produced by Childnet for the Department for Children Schools and Families to help sensitise young people to the pain and hurt which can be caused by cyberbullying.

Child VeiwersThe Australian Communication and Media Authority (the ACMA) worked with Childnet to adapt this resource and its accompanying materials, and has made it freely available to all schools in Australia.

You are able to view the film online or order a copy from the ACMA at cybersafety@acma.gov.au. There are also interviews available describing each character's experience from their perspective, and comments from children and young people who have viewed the resource.

Let's Fight It Together includes materials to help school staff discuss the cyberbullying issues raised in the film with their students. These include:

  • a comprehensive Teacher's Guide with essential advice about preparing class discussions, follow-up activities, lesson plans and additional support materials
  • an overview document, with details about how to identify, prevent and respond to cyberbullying.
